TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Fit File Forge (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1) WHO WE ARE

Fit File Forge helps you generate structured workouts and multi-week training plans, then send them to your Garmin Connect™ account. Our AI Coach creates personalized programs through conversation, while the Generator builds individual workouts on demand.

2) ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these Terms. You can sign in with Google or create an account with email and password. A Garmin Connect account is optional—only needed to send workouts to your devices.

3) ACCOUNT & SECURITY

→Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
→You may disconnect Garmin anytime in settings or inside Garmin Connect; workouts already in Garmin remain there.

4) USE OF THE SERVICE

→Use the service to generate, store, and send workouts and training plans for personal use, subject to your tier's usage limits.
→The AI Coach is designed for conversational planning—you can ask it to create, edit, or refine your training programs.
→No scraping, reverse engineering, automated abuse, or security testing without permission.
→We may throttle or suspend accounts for abuse, security risk, or legal/compliance reasons.

5) SUBSCRIPTION & BILLING

→Free tier: 5 AI workouts/month and 1 Coach plan at no cost. No credit card required.
→Paid plans (Pro, Elite) are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC, a Stripe affiliate, acting as our authorized billing agent (“Link”). By subscribing, you consent to Lemon Squeezy LLC collecting payments on our behalf. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
→You may cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period—you retain full access until then.
→Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. However, our billing agent (Lemon Squeezy LLC / Link) may grant limited refunds within 60 days of a charge in accordance with their refund policy. For transaction-level issues such as duplicate charges or billing errors, contact Link support directly. For product-related concerns, contact us at support@fitfileforge.com.
→We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the next renewal after the notice period.

6) WORKOUTS & CONTENT

→You provide workout descriptions and training goals; we generate structured workouts and training plans from them.
→Coach conversations and generated plans are stored to maintain context—you can continue refining your plan across sessions.
→We don't claim ownership of your inputs/outputs; you grant us a limited license to process them to operate the service.
→You are responsible for verifying workout suitability and using them at your own risk.

7) INTEGRATIONS & THIRD PARTIES

→Garmin: We send workouts (and optional schedule dates) via Garmin's Training API. Garmin controls data once in your account.
→OpenAI: We send your workout prompt text to structure the workout. We do not share your email or Garmin tokens.
→Stripe / Link: Lemon Squeezy LLC (a Stripe affiliate, operating as “Link”) acts as our merchant of record and billing agent. Link processes payments, sends receipts and invoices, handles transaction-level support and refund requests, and manages sales tax compliance. We do not store your card details. Charges on your statement will appear as LINK.COM* Fit File Forge.
→Resend: Delivers transactional emails (verification, welcome, billing notifications).
→Vercel hosting/analytics: Used for hosting and product reliability signals (no ads).

8) DATA HANDLING (SUMMARY)

See the Privacy Policy for details. We store: account basics (Google profile) for sign-in; Garmin tokens/IDs to deliver workouts; workout prompts and generated workout JSON in your Vault; Coach training plans and conversation history; optional Athlete Profile data for personalized targets; operational logs/analytics to keep the service reliable. All data remains until you delete it or your account.

9) ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use the service to harm others, violate laws, or infringe rights. We may remove content or suspend access for violations.

10) DISCLAIMERS

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Training carries risk; consult a professional before following any workout.

11) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) $100 or (b) amounts you paid us in the past 3 months.

12) INDEMNITY

You agree to defend and indemnify Fit File Forge against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

13) CHANGES

We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

14) TERMINATION

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risk, or legal/compliance reasons. Deleting your account removes your stored workouts and Garmin tokens from our systems.
